National Drink Beer Day

My beer of choice : Grolsch I have been drinking it since I was a teenager & able to consume the wonderful golden nectar that is beer. Usually enjoy the Heineken while out due to it being more widely distributed at the pubs & bars. 

Like most things, we look to the ancient Egyptians for answers. Historians point to beer as a ceremonial drink over 5,000 years ago because papyrus scrolls have been discovered documenting early beer recipes. But the Mesopotamians may have actually been the first to develop beer over 10,000 years ago, before recorded history.


Enjoy some suds today you deserve it !

I am a serious beer drinker & here is my stein to prove it. I bought this beautiful hunting motif stein while I was in Koblenz, Germany.

Graphic Design : Book Covers

 My Most Favourite was Designing Book Covers I was very fortunate during my time @ The Gordon Creative Group (GCG) to be able to design for a publisher , Golden Dog Press (GDP) . It was always such fun & excitement when one of these jobs came into the office & it was dropped on my plate. Cannot remember how many designs I did but here are a few samples of what I did. It was always so exhilarating to have them published , I would make my way to the nearest Public Library & Bookstore to search out my creations on the shelves of these establishments & it brought me great joy to see them there. Above are samples of Military History Books that I designed & below is a book featuring the exploration of the waterways in the Ottawa Valley & its history , Navigator . Lastly is a biography of Budge & Nancy Bell-Irving . Always so much fun to design & follow the publishing I am hoping I will return to Book Cover Design in the near future ... fingers cro

 I love my Google Products ! I have never been more happier with products than I am with Google ! Using their suite of products while on my Pixel 4a is so very sweet. And the recent addition of Spotify has made the music flow seamlessly across the board and made me a very happy fellow. I stated using Google when I purchased my Pixel2 and I will never look back ! I can't wait to purchase on of their Pixelbook laptops and totally ingrate the Google experience on all platforms. So very excited for what lies ahead of me and my Google !!
