Spring has Sprung with Snakes  Eastern Garter Snake ( Thamnophis sirtalis sirtalis ) Bill Mason Centre, Dunrobin, Ontario, Canada. Surprising all the snakes I saw this weekend they were in the leaves and in the water at times. Went to the Bill Mason Centre which is an educational centre for students with trails throughout marshes and mixed woods. I went looking for Wood Frogs mating, heard a few but they were well camouflaged in the vegetation of the marsh. So my main subject turned out to be snakes. I was with my father and we spent sometime exploring the trails noting a good variety of bird calls and seeing the warblers that have returned to the area. But like I said only the snakes were posing for the cameras.  Getting fire tongue photos is always a favourite of mine and I believe this female was not shy in showing hers.  Looking for Chipmunks Waking up from hibernation the Chipmunks should be out in full force this weekend as the warm spring weather returns to Canada. Red Squirrels can be seen throughout the winter choosing to search for food rather than sleeping during the cold times. It is rare to get a Chipmunk picture in the snow seeing that they are hidden in their homes during the winter months only peeking out as soon as the warm weather arrives. This weekend should prove to be bountiful for rodent pictures as they should all be awake and running about with the warm temperatures that should be arriving this weekend. It is the some of the coldest days of March that we have been experiencing recently but the temperature should be above zero for this weekend ushering spring to the city of Ottawa.  Love, twitterpation and all the Good Things that Come with Spring Let's Celebrate. Spring is here & soon the flowers will start blooming and there will be much rejoicing. I so needed a Spirit Guide yesterday and someone came through to guide me back to the this Earth. I was Grounded by best of friends who is always there when I need him ... you know who you are buddy & much love I send your way today ! Now all I need is my gf to return to Ottawa & get me more Grounded with celebration & appreciation of the best things in life ... I can't wait, been so giddy with anticipation for her arrival. But for now I still have to wait for her, so that is why I am letting out some good love & warm feelings to the people who are nearest & dearest to my heart ...  & my Business Successes for the Week Wow, this week had been a whirl wind of advancements in my new found professions & businesses. GSDesignPhotography  has finally become a registered business & now has the paper to prove it. As well my site  GSDgraphicartist   has hit the ground running & I want to thank all of you my friends ' & supporters ' that have given me such the  encouragement & positive warm thoughts to keep this guy in the game. So this weekend will be all about celebration & appreciation of my Family & Friends' , my  businesses success & my  accomplishments at the GoC .
