Watership Down is a 1978 British animated adventure drama film, written, produced and directed by Martin Rosen and based on the 1972 novel by Richard Adams. It is a story about a warren of Rabbits that must flee their home that will de destroyed by the hands of man and all the adventures and perils that ensue as they search for a new home. Released on 19 October 1978, the film was an immediate success and it became the sixth-most popular film of 1979 at the UK box office.

I fell in love with this story after seeing this great film and was mesmerised by the great beauty of the artful illustrators of this film. The film itself looks like a moving watercolour masterpiece and will be forever loved by this kid. I is one of my all-time favourites both film & novel.
