Petrie Island Park

On the Ottawa River  Northern Green Frog ( Lithobates clamitans melanota ) Petrie Island, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Another great weekend to discover amphibians at Petrie Island Park, this little guy was just a baby he will be having a tough winter due to his size seeing Autumn just began this weekend. Came across two Green Frogs one an adult and this wee little who was sunning along the shore. These photos turned out a lot better than the adults capture. Surprising for such a small guy to steadily pose for the camera with no flight or movement. Still getting used to the new camera but sometimes it takes stunning photos. Especially when up close I find that the  RF100mm F2.8 L MACRO IS USM and even some distance photos turn out so very nice,  colourful and sharp. One of my distance shots was of this little Muskrat who was feeding on vegetation along the shoreline he sat there for quite awhile and was not disturbed about the camera. This photo was cropped for a better...

4K TV

FPD 50 Inch Smart TV, 4K LED Google TV Finally broke down and bought a new television to replace my ancient Panasonic 42 inch Plasma TV and what a difference it has made in my household. The video gaming has been upped to a new level  experience and the viewing of my photography is spectacular. My old plasma tv had developed a 1pixel line that bisected the screen and there was some odd colouration to the old beast that weighs as much as I do. The other night I was watching some 8K videos on Youtube that totally blew me away and I then realized that I had made the correct decision to upgrade. Also my phones, iPhone and Pixel have been integrated into the functionality of the television viewing experience. All my music apps have been uploaded to the tv and with the Dolby Atmos & vision I am truly in visual & aural heaven with surround sound. I have also grown quite fond of Youtube Music watching and listening to my favourite DJs and performers, just hope my neighbours ...
